Chase Wicenheiser ’19

Chase is currently a Sophomore from Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania in the College of Arts and Sciences, studying Economics and Business. He lettered for the first time as a Defensive Nose Guard this year and is an active member in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

His love of family and children, starts at home with his two younger brothers, Chris and Jackson, and extends to his volunteer work at Cornell. He became a team leader for community outreach programs including Cornell University’s Child Care Afternoons with the Big Red Football Players, and with the Salvation Army’s Adopt-A-Family by wrapping presents for less fortunate families in Ithaca. His drive to volunteer his time with Cornell’s Football Program came after he honored the Spoerl Family from New Jersey with a Wilson Project team football signed by every player on the team. Scott Spoerl was a longtime family friend who lost his battle with brain cancer in June 2016.

Chase is excited to continue interning in various business administration fields; having completed medical finance and sales internships this past year, he plans on interning for a larger New York City firm this summer. After graduation from Cornell he plans on pursuing his MBA and beginning a career in Finance.
