Joshua Grider ’14

Joshua is a Communication Major from Athens, Georgia. He was a four year letter-winner on the offensive line of the Cornell Football team. During his time at Cornell, he served the community through his role as a mascot in the Big Red Bear club. As a member in the volunteer club, he would mascot for both the men's and women's hockey teams as well as numerous other events in the community. He spent two of his spring breaks in Wilmington, DE helping inner-city children with Urban Promise Ministries as a part of the leadership team of Fellowship of Christian Athletes. He was a positive influence on and off of the field through his willingness to support others within the Cornell community no matter what the circumstance.

After graduation, Joshua will move back to Athens, GA to work for EvoShield as a contract employee on the weekends. During the week, he will be on the management track at Waffle House. He plans to continue supporting his community by volunteering at his local recreation center.
