Daniel Alexander ’16

Dan is an Industrial and Labor Relations major from Hilton, New York. Dan played in every game of his career as a 3 year starter as a right guard. He earned All-League Honorable Mention his junior year and First Team All-League honors his senior year. Dan was also nominated for Cornell’s Academic All-Ivy team his senior year.

Dan is the son of Richard and Nancy Alexander. He has two brothers, Richie and Ted. Ted was a 2011 graduate where he played middle linebacker for the Sprint Team. Dan attributes this award to his loving family. His parents have always guided him to love and treat others with respect. His brothers have also been role models throughout his life as they inspired Dan to become a model citizen and live life with integrity. Dan, his brothers, and father all hold the recognition of Eagle Scout in their community. Dan was also an honorary captain at Hilton High where he earned two awards – the Nick Warner Award and Mickey Award for the dedication he had for bettering his team and his selflessness for the game. He never once scored a touchdown playing the game (unless it was in the backyard playing with his family) but believed that the satisfaction of the game was being able to work together as an organization of 65+ men and achieve victory.

After Dan graduates he will be working for M&T Bank in Buffalo, New York in their Management Development Program within the Human Resource department.  Dan hopes to carry on Paul Hunt’s legacy of being a model citizen in all his future endeavors.
